Meyer-Fonne Gentil d’Alsace
Gentil d’Alsace is the name given to a blended white, this really fine example of the style is composed of Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Gewurztraminer. A subtle and intriguing nose of citrus fruit, ginger, apricot and apple. The palate is fresh and racy with a slight spiciness and just a hint of honeyed fruit sweetness. This makes for the most wonderful aperitif but works particularly well with our Alabama white sauce.
